Puppy vaccination schedule: what your new dog needs and when
A clear week-by-week guide to your puppy's first vaccinations, when they can go outside and which boosters follow.

Bringing home a new puppy is exciting, and protecting them from serious infectious diseases is one of the first things to plan. Here is the schedule we recommend for most puppies.
8 weeks: first vaccination
The first core vaccine protects against parvovirus, distemper and hepatitis. We also give a full health check, start parasite treatment and talk about microchipping.
10–12 weeks: second vaccination
The second dose completes the primary course. One week later, most puppies can start walks and puppy classes.
16 weeks and beyond
Some puppies need a third dose. After that, a yearly health check and booster keeps protection strong for life.
